\n\tThe AER Centre, Shimla is a H.P. University maintained institution governed under the rules and regulations of the H.P. University, Shimla. The Vice-Chancellor, H.P. University, Shimla or his nominee is the Chairman of the Advisory Committee (AC). The AC works under the general control and supervision of the Executive Council of the H.P. University, Shimla.<\/div>\n

\n\tThis is one of the 12 AER Centers established by the Government of India. The AERC Shimla has been integrated with Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla w.e.f 1.4.1995 vide notification No.3-5\/94-HPU (Genl) Vol-VI Dated 8th August, 2011. <\/div>\n

\n\tThe Committee is constituted for advise on technical administrative and financial matters. The Committee is constituted for the period of 3 years. The Committee meets twice a year under the Chairmanship of Vice Chancellor. Presently the Advisory Committee has following members.<\/div>\n
