{"id":19,"date":"2026-08-31T10:01:45","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T10:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/123.253.160.124:7676\/hpuniv\/agro-economic-research-centre\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2026-08-31T11:26:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T11:26:38","slug":"what-we-do","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/123.253.160.124:7676\/hpuniv\/agro-economic-research-centre\/what-we-do\/","title":{"rendered":"What We Do"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"inner-area\">\n<div class=\"table-responsive\">\n<div>\n\tThe Government of India, while approving the setting up of AER Centre stipulated that the Centre would undertake the following activities:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tMake a study of changes in rural economy by means of survey of a number of selected villages each year and resurvey of the same group of villages at an interval of say, five years.<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tConduct ad-hoc investigations into problems of interest to the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tCarry out research on fundamental problems relating to agricultural economics of the country.<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tGive technical advice to the Government of India and concerned State Governments on such issues as, with mutual agreement, may be referred to the Centre.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n\tIt was also desired that the AER Centers would maintain necessary contacts with each other and also with the Ministry of Agriculture.<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of India, while approving the setting up of AER Centre stipulated that the Centre would undertake the following activities: Make a study of changes in rural economy by means of survey of a number of selected villages each &hellip;
