“The wealth that cannot be stolen, neither abducted by state, nor can be divided amongst brothers, neither it is burdensome to carry, the wealth that increases by spending, that wealth, is knowledge and is supreme of all possessions”

The teacher as a nation builder influences the young minds. Knowledge has been an integral part of the Indian culture since time immemorial. Since the era of the Vedas and Upanishads, teachers as saints and sages have been the path used to acquire not only knowledge but foresight and far sight as well.

I feel immense gratitude and pride as I pen down this note. We at department of Education (Himachal Pradesh University) believe in nourishing students to strive for brighter prospects, to nurture the latent talent in them, helping them reach their full potential.

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan had once said “When we think we know we seize to learn” therefore we believe in aiding students to learn and grow dynamically and empower them to take on all challenges in life with a positive attitude.

The unexpected crises challenged the entire system to reinvent, relearn and retool itself. But we have strived to provide the students unwavering support in present of their goals by engaging in digital learning.

We are committed to push students to grow in all spheres and to carry on the legacy of this institute. We intend on harnessing the immense potential of young minds to contribute to the larger purpose of cultivating progressive society enriched with traditional ethics and values.
