The students spread the message of cracker free and safe diwali by holding placards and banners in the university.<br \/>\nOn 21st March, 2017 World Social Work Day was celebrated by observing the theme of the year, Promoting Community and Environmental Sustainability which relates to the third pillar of the Global Agenda for Social Work and Social Development. The students along with faculty members volunteered to plant trees on university campus and vowed to spread awareness of conserving and planting trees.<br \/>\nOn 7th April, 2017, World Health Day was observed by organizing hand washing campaign at Himachal University Model School, Summerhill.
