The centre aims to generate awareness among the younger generations about contributions of Great Indian Mathematicians in the field of Mathematics and promote Vedic mathematical study and research in India and abroad. Further, in view of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which lays a strong emphasis on the promotion and integration of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in higher education, the existing centre has been renamed as &#8220;Ramanujan Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and Indian Mathematics&#8221; in order to expand its scope and identity.<\/p>\n<p>Keeping in view the aims, the Centre is offering two programmes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Certificate course in Vedic Mathematics<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Post Graduate Diploma in Ancient Indian Mathematics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These courses will give the students a great opportunity to understand the values of Vedic -mathematics and acknowledge the contributions of Indian mathematicians in the field of Mathematics. The students will gain knowledge about the Vedic- Sutras for long calculations. The Centre will also organize various activities like\u00a0<strong>Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, e-library\u00a0<\/strong>etc\u00a0to bring forward the extraordinary work done by Indian Mathematicians in the fields such as Astronomy, Astrology, Geometry, Algebra, Arithmetic, Agriculture, Ayurveda, Basic Sciences, Management, Economics etc<span style=\"color: #808080; font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hpuniv.ac.in\/hpuniv\/upload\/uploadfiles\/files\/Centre%20for%20Indian%20Mathematics_HBI_2021-22.pdf\">Brochure of\u00a0 Certificate Course in Vedic Mathematics and\u00a0 P G.
